In 2014, Fink finished second in the 100 breaststroke at the Summer National Championships to earn a spot on the Pan Pacific Championships team and book his ticket to Gold Coast, Australia. International CareerĪt his first international meet, Fink finished 8th in the 100 meter breaststroke in 1:00.10 just behind his compatriot, Kevin Cordes who finished 7th in 1:00.02 Fink returned for his senior season in 2014, and at the 2015 NCAA Championships Fink touched in 2nd in the 100 breast and 4th in the 200. His junior year, he finished second in the 100 breaststroke, third in the 200 breaststroke, and seventh in the 200 IM. As a sophomore, he finished fourth in the 100 breaststroke. As a freshman, he finished 10th in the 200 breaststroke, and 17th in the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke.
He has had several scoring appearances at the NCAA Championships for the Bulldogs. Nic Fink is from Morristown, New Jersey and attended The Pingry School before enrolling at the University of Georgia. At the 2013 FINA World Championships in Barcelona, Fink finished 8th in the 100m breaststroke.
